Kadai Paneer

Ingredients

Indian cottage cheese   250grms
Onion paste                   1 cup
Tomato paste                1 & 1/2 cup
Onion diced                  1
Green bell pepper         1/2 diced
Red bell pepper            1/2 diced
Yellow bell pepper       1/2 diced
Ginger garlic paste        1 tsp
Kasoori methi               1 tsp
Red chili powder           to paste
Corriander powder        1 tsp
Garam masala                1/2 tsp
Kashmiri red chili         2
Bay leaves                     2
Salt                                to taste
Oil                                 2 tbsp
Fresh cream or malai    1/2 cup
Water                            1 & 1/2 cup


Method

1. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a kadai. Add the bay leaves and kashmiri red chillies to it and then add onion       paste to it. Saute till it gets golden brown colour.
2. Then add tomato paste to it. saute it till the oil seperates from the mixture. Then add diced onions& diced bell peppers.
3. Saute them for 2 min so that thediced vegetables don't loose their crunch.
4. Add all the spices to it (salt, corriander powder, red chili powder, garam masala)
5. Take the bay leaves out&add 1 & 1/2 cup of water to it and cookit  for 5 min.
6. Add paneer cubes and cook for 2-3 min. 
7. Add fresh cream and mix it well. cook it for 2 min and garnish it with corriander and serve hot.
